OpsBench

PEM to PFX

Bundle a certificate, key and chain into a password-protected .pfx.

● Runs on our server
— optional, but strongly recommended
Files are processed in memory only and never stored. If Windows refuses to import the PFX (algorithm error), that is OpenSSL 3 using AES-256 — in that case run openssl pkcs12 -export -legacy locally.

How it works

Our server combines the certificate, key and chain with OpenSSL’s PKCS#12 export and encrypts the file with your password. If the PHP extension can’t produce the format you need, we fall back to the openssl command line. Nothing is stored.
